Clippers land CP3

The Los Angeles Clippers have landed all star point guard Chris Paul. Paul was dealt to the Clippers for Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu, Minnesota Timberwolves 1st round pick, and 2 future second round picks. I think that the Hornets won this trade becuase the got a great guard in Eric Gordon, a good center in Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu and 2 second round picks, plus a first rounder all for Chris Paul. This trade was just ridiculous, but the Clippers got one of the best point guards in the league, Chris Paul. Paul will team up with highlight reel Blake Griffin to form a great one-two pucnh. The addition of Paul will help the Clippers a lot this season.

The Brewers have filled an important need on there roster by signing Ramirez. With Prince Fielder being a free agent and Ryan Braun facing a 50 game suspension, Ramirez will now be the guy who'll have to step up for this club. Ramirez will now be the guy the Brewers will have to depend on for the first 50 games till Ryan Braun returns.

Dodgers sign Harang

The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed starting pitcher Aaron Harang to a 2 year $12 million contract. Even though Harang is 33, he's still a good pitcher. He posted a 3.65 E.R.A. and 6.5 strikeouts per nine innings. Harang will be a solid #3 or 4 starter for the Dodgers. Harang will be a nice pitcher to have in the Dodgers rotation for this upcoming season.

Brew Crew find their shortstop

The Milwakee Brewers have found their new shortstop in Alex Gonzalez. This was one of the Brewers biggest needs and Gonzalez for the right guy to find. Gonzalez will fill in the shoes for Yuniskey Betancourt at shortstop. The addition of Gonzalez is key for the Brewers for the upcoming season.

Marlins sign Reyes

The Miami Marlins have signed all star shortstop Jose Reyes to a 6 year $107 million contract. Reyes was the reiging batting champion last season and will now provide even more speed for the Miami Marlins. Even though the Miami Marlins have a great short stop Hanley Ramirez already, Reyes was a key target the Marlins were looking for in the off season. However sources have said that Hanley is going to play third base and Reyes will play shortstop. Reyes is going to help this Miami Marlins needy offense this season.

Angels Hit Jack Pot

The Los Angeles Angels have shocked the baseball world by adding first baseman Albert Pujols and starting pitcher C.J. Wilson. These were the prized free agents that most teams wanted, but the Angeles hit jackpot bu adding both of these players. The Angeles signed Pujols to a 10 year $252 million contract. Pujols is now offically the 2nd most payed baseball player ever since the Texas Rangers signed third baseman Alex Rodriguez to a record 10 year $275 million contract in 2001. Pujols is going to help this club a lot, and with a lineup that already features Mark Trumbo and Tori Hunter. Pujols is going to mean a lot to the club and he's going to produce a lot.

The Angels also landed the best pitcher on the market, C.J. Wilson. They signed Wilson to a 4 year $77.5 million contract. Wilson will team up with a great rotation featuring Jered Weaver, Ervin Santana, and Dan Haren. Wilson is coming off a career season with 16 wins and a 2.94 E.R.A. Adding Wilson makes the Angeles pitching even better and they might have the best roation in baseball. Wilson will help the Angeles as a contender in the AL West. Adding both Pujols and Wilson is going to help and make this team a lot better.

Marlins, Buehrle agree

The Miami Marlins and Mark Buehrle have agreed on a 4 year $58 million deal. Buehrle will be with Ozzie Guillen once again, but this time with the Miami Marlins. Buehrle is a great pitcher and will eat up innings for any team he will play for. Expect Buehrle to go over 200 plus innings once again. The Marlins were 12th in the NL in E.R.A. last season and with the addition of Buehrle, that number will decrease. With a pitching rotation featuring Josh Johnson, Anibal Sanchez, Ricky Nolasco, and now Buehrle. If this rotation does as expected then the Mimai Marlins have a shot at the playoffs.

Padres acquire Huston Street

After closer Heath Bell signed with the Miami Marlins, the Padres were in need of a replacement of all star closer Heath Bell. Problem was solved as the Padres acquired closer Huston Street from the Rockies for a player to be named later. Street now gets in pitch in pitcher friendly Petco Park. Street could have a dominate season this year and with the trasition from Coors Field to Petco Park, Street's homr run ration will drop definitely this year. The acquisition of Street will help the Padres bullpen this year after the exodus of Heath Bell.

Giants acquire Angel Pagan

The San Francisco Giants have acquired outfielder Angel Pagan from the New York Mets for outfielder Andres Torres and pitcher Ramon Ramirez. The Giants, who have already acquired outfilder Melky Cabrera, have now added a speedster in Pagan that could help balance out the Giants offense. Though the starters are probably going to be Nate Schierholtz, Melky Cabrera, and Aubrey Huff, Pagan can be used as a valuable utility man or backup. The addition of Pagan will bring spped and balance to a lineup who was horrible last season.

Cubs sign DeJesus

The Chicago Cubs and outfielder David DeJesus have agreed on a 2 year deal. DeJesus will bring leadership and greatness to a wimpy Chicago Cubs outfield. With the addition of DeJesus, the Cubs have found a guy that has lots of talent, but lacks power. All the Cubs need now is a guy like Prince, Albert or a dominate hitter at the plate that can explode for there offense. David will make the lineup balanced for the Cubs, who didn't see much of that last season. DeJesus is going to make the Cubs a good hitting team.

Marlins sign Heath Bell

The Miami Marlins have signed closer Heath Bell to a 3 year contract. The Miami Marlins had needs in there bullpen and Bell was the right choice to choose on the market. Heath Bell is the only closer who has has 40 or more saves 3 straight seasons, and the Marlins need this a ton. The addition of Bell will power boost the Marlins bullpen.
