Rangers acquire Treanor and Gonzalez

The Texas Rangers have acquired catcher Matt Treanor and RP Mike Gonzalez in seperate trades. The Rangers acquired Treanor for cash and Mike Gonzalez for Pedro Strop. Strop has been a soid reliver in 11 games for the Rangers. He has a 3.72 E.R.A. in 11 apperances. These two trades have added depth at RP and catcher. These additions will help the Rangers late in the regular season.

Ravnes sign McKinnie

The Baltimore Ravens have signed former Vikings tackle Bryan McKinnie to a two year deal. McKinnie is a great tackle and will help the Ravnes offensive line too. This addition has helped the Ravens running game and while the Vikings need to pick up an offensive linemen.

Cubs fire Hendry

The Chicago Cubs have fired general manager Jim Hendry after the Cubs have the 2nd worst record in the national league. Hendry has led the Cubs to 3 division titles and has been the 3rd longest tenure manager in the national league. This was a good move by the Cubs but, they still need some work to do.

Chiefs add McClain

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed Pro Bowl fullback LeRon McClain to a 1 year contract. McClain is a great blocker and has the ability to break open a big run too. McClain will boost the Chiefs blocking and will bring lots of running room for running back Jamaal Charles.

Saints sign Franklin

The Saints have signed DT Aubrayo Franklin to a 1 year contract. Franklin is a great DT that has experience and is very talented, both the Saints needed on defense. With the addition of Franklin, the Saints have beefed up there d-line.

Niners Beef Up Secondary

The 49ers have beefed up their secondary with the additions of Safety Donte Whitner, and Carlos Rodgers. Adding Rodgers and Whitner adds to good defenders in there secondary. Whitner has the speed and is a hard hitter, while Rodgers is a good cover man. These additions will helped the 49ers defense.

49ers sign Braylon Edwards

The 49ers have signed WR Braylon Edwards to a 1 year deal. Edwards is a solid WR that can be a threat down the field. With the addition of Edwards, the Niners have added a weapon to there offense that already includes Frank Gore, Vernon Davis, and Michael Crabtree.

Raiders add Kevin Boss

The Raiders have signed TE Kevin Boss to a 4 year $18M deal.After losing TE Zach Miller to free agency, the Raiders signed Boss to fill in there need. With the addition of Boss, the Raiders have added a pass catching threat to there team.

Saints Sign Olin Kreutz

The Saints have agreed to terms with Center Olin Kreutz on a 1 year deal. Kreutz will be the Saints Center now that Johnathan Goodwin went to the 49ers. Kreutz is a veteran Center that is still a great blocker. With this addition, this will boost the Saints offensive line.

Eagles Sign Ronnie Brown

After adding there deffensive pieces, the Dolphins decided to add a offensive threat by signing Ronnie Brown. Brown is a solid RB that is a good runner and can catch out of the backfield too. He can also be a wild cat threat too. With this addition the Eagles have added the right piece to there team.

Seahawks Sign Zach Miller

The Seattle Seahawks have signed TE Zach Miller to a 5 year deal. Miller will help the Seahawks offense and will be a threat down the field. After signing Sidney Rice, the Hawks added Miller for insurance. With this addition the Seahawks have stacked up there offense.
