Reid gone after 14
After his worst coaching season ever, Andy Reid has gotten fired. Following a 42-7 loss to the Giants, we all knew it would be an end of a run for Reid in Philly. This is a huge loss for Eagles even though they had a bad season. This season, injuries killed the Eagles as they lost 3 OL (Peters, Kelce, and Herramans), they lost WR DeSean Jackson, QB Michael Vick, and already lost star corner Asante Samuel the previous off-season. It's not Reid's fault for doing bad, the OL coach was horrible, they gave up 48 sacks, but did well blocking for McCoy and Brown (4.5 AVG). When the GM gave up Donovan McNabb, disaster had struck. Without McNabb the Eagles have gone downhill each year 10-6 in 10, 8-8 in 11, and 4-12 in 12. When the Eagles grabbed Asoughma, Rodgers-Cromartie, Jenkins, Babin, they all came together the first season, but they couldn't come together this season. Maybe the players didn't connect together which got Reid fired or the moves by the GM. Reid has helped the Eagles reach 4 consecutive NFC Championships from 2000-2004 and another in 2008. He also helped Philly go to the Superbowl in 2004. The loss of Reid is devastating, hopefully he can find another head coaching job.
