Titans Sign Levitre, Walker
The Titans were a busy team in day one of free agency as they signed Left Guard Andy Levitre and Tight End Delanie Walker. Levitre and the Titans agreed to a 5 year, $39 million contract. Levitre was the Bills best offensive lineman last season as he set up big holes for RB C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson to run through. Levitre will fill a void at left guard after Steve Hutchinson announced his retirement. The Titants also spent their money on Tight End Delanie Walker. Walker and the Titans agreed to a 4 year $17.5 million, with $8.6 million guaranteed. In my opinoin it seemed a lot to give for just a guy who backed up Vernon Davis last season. However, Walker is a heavily underrated, fast, good-blocking tight end that proabably played even better than Davis last season. This should help Chris Johnson get back to his old form as the Titans have added to great run-blocking boldozers to their team.
