Chargers Add A Cox

The San Diego Chargers have signed their biggest need of their off-season, cornerback. They agreed to terms with free agent corner Derek Cox on a 4 year, $20 million contract. Cox's great play has been often overshadowed by injuries, though when healthy, Cox can be a huge impact player on team's defense, especially the struggling Jaguars defense. Cox is 26 years old, and he's in his prime right now, should be upgraded over Antonie Cason and kind of Quinton Jammer. Cox has intercepted 4 passes when he starts at least 11 games, and his coverage skills has just sensational. Most people overlook Cox, because he's on the Jaguars, but he's a great under the radar player.
