Mike Wallace Headed To South Beach
After constant communication with eachother, the Miami Dolphins and free agent wide reciever Mike Wallace have finally agreed to terms. According to NFL.com's Jeff Darlington, the contract is a 5 year deal, worth $56 million. The Dolphins have signed arguably the best free agent wide reciever out their, but was it a good decision. Yes, Mike Wallace is a big play-threat and that's what QB Ryan Tannehill needs, but was he worht about $11.5 million a year. You could of gotten Greg Jennings cheaper, plus he's familiar with Joe Philbin's offensive system. The Dolphins also did re-sign WR Brian Hatline, so combine Wallace, Hartline, Bess, and possibly Brandon Gibson, this Dolphins recieving corps is stacked, but needs to prove they can help a very needy Miami offense, who finished in the low rankings, in lots of offensive categories.
