Peavy Down 4-6 Weeks
The White Sox have lost a valuable starter in Jake Peavy, for 4 to 6 weeks, with a non-displaced rib fracture, on his left side. Hector Santiago will fill in for the injured Peavy, and will square off against A.J. Griffin, Sunday verses the A's. The injury started to get to Peavy as he allowed 6 runs on 7 hits, over 2 1/3 innings against the Mariners. The loss of Peavy will hurt the Sox rotation, but hopefully Santiago can step up and pitch well, during Peavy's absence.
