Johnny Knox Done With Football

After taking a vicious hit from Seattle Seahawks DE Anthony Hargrove in December 2011, and having a difficult time from recovering from his injury, Chicago Bears wide receiver Johnny has announced he's done playing football. The Bears had previously terminated Knox' contract prior to saying he was done with football. He had suffered from a back injury and missed all of the 2012 NFL season because of a spinal fusion surgery. During his tenure with the Chicago Bears, Knox went to the Pro Bowl as a returner when he was a rookie in 2009.  He led the Bears with 51 catches for 960 yards, and 5 TD in 2010. During his career in Chicago, Knox exploited defenses using his speed and his ability to return kickoffs made the field position for the Bears easier.
