A New Bourn Indian
After sending away outfielder Shin Shoo-Choo to the Cincinnati Reds a month ago and adding outfielder Nick Swisher, the Indians were still looking for center piece in their outfield. They signed former Atlanta Braves All-Star outfielder Michael Bourn to a 4 year $48M contract. Bourn stole 42 bases, batted .274, and drove in 57 RBI last season. Bourn's speed and ability to steal bases and make diving catches makes him a great addition to anchor the Indians outfielder. He is compared somewhat to teammate Grady Sizemore, when he was in his prime. With the addition of Michael Bourn, the Indians have found a formidable #1 batter and center fielder.
