With Max Scherzer stifling the Yankees lineup with ten strikeouts, the Yankees lineup went silent, only piling up 2 hits the entire game. Tigers DH Delmon Young was named MVP of the ALCS. The Yankees were very disappointing this postseason as they hit for the lowest average in postseason history, .188. Robinson Cano, Curtis Granderson, and all the other Yankees just couldn't get the job done. For the Tigers, Congratulations on being the AL pennant winners.
