MLB and NFL latest news
The latest news of in the MLB and NFL is that 9 time pro bowler Walter Jones retired after 12 season with the Seahawks. Also the Cardinals signed former Steeler and Jet guard Alan Faneca to a one year contract.Faenca will help them big time at the OL position. Also the Bears traded linebacker Jamar Williams to the Panthers for safety Chris Harris. Harris who was a former Bear who helped the Bears go to the super bowl in 2006 with that great defense and now the Bears are going to the playoffs probably again. Also the Redskins signed WR Bobby Wade and Joey Galloway from free agency as they will help the depth of needy WR in Washington. Galloway has not been productive these last 2 years as catching only 20 passes and Wade did good with Minnesota in 2008. So far the MLB league leaders in batting average in top 3 is Robinson Cano with a .407 average, Pablo Sandoval .373, Martin Prado .360, and Scott Podsednick .359, with HR is Paul Konerko with 10, Kelly Johnson 8 and Cano 8, for wins is Jimenez 5, Halladay, Wainwright, Garza, Lincecum, and Correia with 4. E.R.A. is M. Pelfrey with 0.69, Jimenez 0.79, Hernandez 0.87 and with RBI are M. Caberea 25, Carlos Pena 22, Jorge Canto 22. Also Lebron James won his 2nd MVP.
