JaMarcus Russel got released by the Oakland Raiders after being the #1 pick in 2007. Russel who threw for 1,287 yards only and had only 3 touchdown passes and threw 11 interceptions. Russel got released after trading for QB Jason Campbell. Also Los Angels Dodgers OF Manny Ramirez is to return to the lineup Saturday against the Rockies. Also some surprising players that are doing good to start off the MLB season are 3B David Freese(.359 AVG), Matt Capps(11 SV), Livan Hernandez(4-1, 0.99 ERA), Alex Gonzalez(8 HR,22 RBI), Paul Konerko(12 HR,25 RBI), Ty Winnigton(9 HR), and Doug Fisher(1.29 ERA)
